      It's starting

I've just begun keeping a dream journal. I've learned a few tips and tricks from other dreamers here and i'm very thankful. I've begun reaffirming each nigh night that I will recognize and remember that I am dreaming. I often wake up eary to use the bathroom and my best time to dream is usually when I fall back asleep from that. I've remembered two dreams in a row! Also I've been practicing doing reality checks.(during the day of course) Hopefully I will develop the habit while I'm asleep also. I'm looking forward to updating my progress. One thing I'm still concerned about is that I usually always dream in the first person; I feel that it must be more difficult in this case to attain lucidity. Even though I'm remembering my dreams it's not until I am awake of course. Why would I think to do a RC in my dream if I don't even know?!

Way to go! I'm sure you will see results soon!

BTW, I always dream in first person as well. The trick is to train your mind to question EVERYTHING! I say everything, because when you are dreaming, you probably will think that five legged dog or green cat is the most natural thing in the world.

Sometimes I dream in first person and sometimes in third. I used to keep a journal but have stopped for several years. I enjoy just following the dream. Sometimes there is a message and sometimes there is not.
