      Having problems sleeping lately, help!

      Hey all
For the past week or so, I have been turning a lot in my sleep. I would wake up and my sheets are everywhere and my duvet on the floor. Normally, I hardly move in my sleep (I believe, as usually my bed is in mint condition in the morning).
Whats worse, for the last 2/3 days I have been having problems getting to sleep. My body turns a lot and I feel frustrated.
This affected my dreams as well; I'm starting to get confused in the morning about where I am. I awake, later than usual, and have fragmented memories of many dreams. Various recurring images I remember. I'm also starting to day dream more as well. However, these day dreams feel very real (like a semi-lucid dream) and they happen more frequently.
I'm not too annoyed at this all happening (it could be a good sign that my LDing is getting more "powerful") but I am starting to get "afraid". It feels like my dream 'life' is starting to overlap with my waking life.
Any help for me to control this? I think it could be due to some stress caused by Uni work and upcoming exams.

yeah I was gonna ask if you thought it might be stress related

I think your vivid day dreams are a sure sign of sleep deprivation

Whenever I go through stressful cycles in my life that lead to temporary insomnia, I try relaxation techniques in bed when I'm trying to sleep. And I repeat them if I wake up in the middle of the night. I also try to catch up by taking naps like on the weekend when I have the time to do it.

Good luck man, I know insomnia is a bitch
