      The perfect dream..

Man.. i wish lucidity was as easy as, 'Im falling asleep.. I wanna wake up on a beach party on some Island.."

      BAM. youre there.

If you could choose that, What would YOUR DREAM destination be?? (pun intended haha)
I wanna wake up in paradise .. and experience the awsome breeze on my face.. my bestest friends beside me.. and the beach in front of mee.. and dont forget palm trees...
      how about you?

Hey the moon is a good idea too..

I'd love to wake up on a beach in Japan. Why Japan? It's a LONG story... but that would be my dream destination.

Either that, or I'd like to live on another planet that sustains humanoid life. It's interesting to see how other creatures elsewhere in the universe live.

Ooh, now mine would be a huge forest with mountain ranges in a distance, a wide open lake, a little wooden cabin to live in, no modern electric equipment and just green as far as they eye can see.

it sure would. actually, this is pretty well the vision i've had in my head for years as the kind of place i wish to live for 5-10 years. i'd like to use only a chainsaw to build a one room cabin, and then live without modern technology.

-as far as a LD destination, some sort of world where the sky is made of water down until about twenty feet above ground level, where it turns into the most invigorating oxygenated air one can handle. the sun would shine through the water in psychedelic fractal patterns, creating music that makes anything one has ever heard sound like 'mary had a little lamb'.

then i'd create a bunch of multi-coloured bonfires and dance the night away with DCs.

Ahhhhh, your description sends shivers down my spine man.

How about we DV utopian-naturalists trek off to some deep and isolated American/Russian forest, and thence erect a New Garden of Eden. There is Where laughter shall drop like its many trickling clear stone streams and where we all take regular dips into a morn-fresh milk with honey dribbling hot-baths, and where our days and nights are spent cultivating the intricacies of ultimate self-perfection.

We'll need plenty of women and countless varieties of the marijuana plant to keep us mentally and physically occupied of course, but I can deal with that.

      perfect place

I would like to wake up in a huge hotel with different rooms filled with every beautiful environment you can imagine. I could walk from the beach to a snow covered mountain, or take the elevator to a room where I could visit with my family. No one would ever have pain or fear. I would take all anxiety away from my loved ones.

well, so far it'd be quite the sausagefest, so a few females would definitely be needed

i'm actually going to visit a small fledgling commune in northern BC (Canada) this summer. it should be interesting to see if people can actually make back to land living work...

Lol, I've read the book. I say a Republic like system would solve this problem, as well as a physical combat training program with leadership, or whatever else we come up with. Any ways, if any of you power-hungry fools wanna destroy my Green City, I'll pop a bullet in your ass. That'll take you out ‘til the herbologists fix you up.

Asher, have you ever heard of the Margwai (or something like that) – tis a society that abide in New Zealand and live totally naturally. They carve things out of stone by rubbing their hands over it for years and years and other cool shit.

nope, haven't heard of them astro. all i could find on google was a band of the same name.

      sounds righteous though.

imagine shaping a rock by hand for thirty years, and then tripping over one that's shaped exactly like the one you just made

A search on 'Margwai' in google brings up links to dreaming sites and references to people using it as their nickname.
Do you mean 'Maori'? They are the aboriginals of New Zealand. But they do not carve things by rubbing their hands over stones. I don't think there has ever been a civilization that did this, it is just not logical.
Maori also live just like you and me, in houses.

Edit: Okay, I did not see the above post before posting. Obviously you have corrected youself and did, infact mean Maori.

A wide rocky beach on the edge of a vast conifer forest, night, slow rolling water in front and a stone bridge that arcs up and out over the water, straight into space, with doorways along the way that each go to a thousand unknown places.

This thread pushed me out of lurking all the time, My dream destination would be the international space station. I've always wanted to float miles about the planet and in the serene quiet just stare down at that blue marble of a planet we take for granted.
