Thread: Weather in dreams...

Sure, I've had rain in my dreams. It was really just like normal rain, except for one time when it was comming down so hard and wuickly that it flooded the entire dreamscape and everyone died... yeah.

But snow on the other hand in dreams, now that's nice.

It is usually sunny or overcast in my dreams. It has been raining quite a few times, but I don't seem to get wet.

But there is of course the odd exception, when there's stupid weather like tornadoes of water and so forth. But dreams with unusual weather are always unusual in other ways too.

I've had dreams with sunny skies, cloudy skies, thunderstorms, and tornados. I can't remember if I've ever had a rainy dream, though. Hmm...

I've had tons of different types of weather. Generally the sky is just a cloudy whitish greyish in my dreams. The most unusual weather has prolly been the time it rained poison needles, which wasn't fun.

I've had lots of different weather... one raining dream I especially remember I was in a harry potter scenario in my front yard with a broomstick and I was zooming through rain super fast... very exhillerating (non-lucid).

I had a dream just the other night where a weird frozen fog ascended like a curtain before me, but in general I've experienced nuclear lightning storms, thunderstorms, tornadoes, dark overcast, and sunny. I usually notice the non-sunny weather as unusual whereas the sunny weather has simply blended into the abiance as an assumption in all but a few dreams.

actually, i don't think i've had rain in dreams either.

had snow, wind, sun, cloud...no rain. which is actually very odd because i live in one of the rainiest regions in canada. last week ended almost 30 days straight of rain...

I've had rain in my dreams quite frequently. It is rare for me to have a dream where the weather is sunny. It is usually cloudy and dark in my dreams...or I am indoors.

Interesting, your question made me realize something: In all my dreams in which tornadoes appeared, there was no rain!

I seem to recall the weather in most of my dreams like that of the weather right before a storm hits - cool, breezy, dark but not quite the same type of dark as your typical sunset or evening darkness.

I have had two very vivid dreams that involved tornadoes...and now that you mention it...bother times it was very sunny outside. One would think this would bring lucidity.

I have experienced snow a couple of times as well as rain in my dreams. but what I get more often is a general lightness or darkness depending on what is happening in the dream.

I had a lucid dream where it was pouring down rain. I just layed down on the ground and let the rain fall all over me. It was one of the simplist...yet vivid...realistic...and memorable lucids I've ever had.

I had an LD just last night where it was raining and snowing at the same time... but it wasn't sleet. Must be a result of living in the wettest city on earth...

Sweet! I love Harry Potter dreams. (Yes, I admit I'm a HP nerd).

Everytime i have a nightmare it is at night and it is raining, whether i am outside or not. Other than nightmares, it always seems to be quite dull in my dreams, and it's nearly always autumn with leaves everywhere

It's usually very nice and sunny, and always summer. If I become lucid, I make it rain hard on purpose.

THAT IS wonderful Aquanina!

Last rainfall in my dream happened during night and it was the ideal setting...dark skies, a valley in the distance, and the no problems.
