Almost every time I'm lucid, before I wake up, I take something from the dream to take into real life; once it was a huge load of sweets, another time a really cool teleportation device etc. etc.. Anyway, while I'm waking up I can feel the object in my hands and am certain it's there until I open my eyes and... POP... it's gone. Sometimes I get a huge shock from it disappearing. Does this sort of thing have a name? Anyone else experienced it?
