was I lucid? im not sure.

I had a dream, I don't believe it was lucid, but I think I thought it was a dream because I felt like I was controlling it somehow, I was flying, and when ever I started to loose control my hands would phase in and out in front of my eyes(but it a weird green computerized matrix form), when that happened I would should out "no!!"
it was weird. I never actually asked myself if I was dreaming or anything, though.

I'd only bump topics if your question hasn't been answered and it fell off the first page...

I think you may have been in the Pre-Lucid state, where you start to suspect you may be dreaming, but never really believe it.

I agree with what Kastro said...next time you find yourself in that situation, i would perform some kind of reality check. Although remembering to do this isn't always easy, as i found out!

From what I've read, if you consciously tell yourself that you're dreaming during the dream and understand what that means, then you're lucid; otherwise, you're not. It's possible to have special powers in dreams without being lucid.

Though I've recently had a couple of strange dreams where my actions and thoughts in the dream strongly suggested that I was at least partially aware that I was dreaming, yet I never actually thought "This is a dream!" directly, nor did I do any of the usual things that I try in lucid dreams. Those were quite difficult to classify. Usually, it's pretty obvious to me whether a dream is lucid or not, though.
