rpild reverse-pyhc-induced-lucid-dream for a while i have been trying to have lucids and every night i say...i will have a lucid tontie, then i tried the oppossite, i said i will NOT have a lucid tontie and infact had a some what lucid dream, what do u guys think of this technique good or bad way of thinking???

if i feel like i've been trying too hard to have lucids for awhile without success, i will just stop trying for awhile. its worked a couple times...

I chatted with dropout14 recently when we decided to name his technique RPILD or Reverse Psychologically Induced Lucid Dream--assuming no one has coined it under a different name already. My main concern with RPILD centers around the negative impact it might have on one's personality. Since dreams (good or bad) tend to affect one's waking mood, is it reasonable to assume that performing RPILD on a regular basis might manifest into waking pessimism? P.S. That's not to say that RPILD wouldn't be useful to someone who is thinking about giving up on LD, but I would surmise that one should use such a technique sparingly.
