acting out your dreams whilst asleep

sometimes in the night (well quite often, a few times a week) I wake up doing something like trying to type on a computer or read something. But its not like I remember waking up, Im woken up very gradually so I dont remember what happened before but I remember doing something randomly. So is this me an extension of me doing what I was in the dream?

Also (on an unrelated not) when im in this state when I try to read something (which isnt there lol) its just out of focus, the more I focus the more unreadable it gets. Is reading in dreams like this?
I can't say I really know anything about what you're talkinga bout , but I said plausible because of that incredibly cool blind spot trick .

      Your a sleep walker!

I myself have experienced this a lot, when I was a little younger. I outgrew it.
Supposedly, about 1% of americans sleepwalk, and people that are affected with this grow out of it when they are around 15.

In a way it is like an extension of your dream. I personally usually had one like every month or so when I was ten. For me, they were all unpleasant, and all occuring in my room. Here are some examples of some of mine:

      - My parents getting mauled by Frankenstein in the corner of my room, then ol' Frank comes toward me. I pick up my pillow and throw it at him, and wake up to find out he's a pile of laundry.

      - I am looking at my fish tank. A evil looking fish jumps out and goes down my shirt. I run out of my room, rip off my shirt, and wake up screaming.

      - Three huge people climb in through my window. I sit there, petrified, looking at them, hoping they dont see me. They are talking about stealing jewelry. Then, one of them notices me and says "Get that kid! We'll use him as a hostage" I wake up, still thinking there are men in my room, but then realize I was sleepwalking.

      - I hear screaming and "Oh god help me" from outside my room. I stay in bed, quietly for a while, even after it stops. I pick my pocketknife, expecting a serial killer, and burst out of room, then realize I was sleeptalking.

      And many more...

the more I focus the more unreadable it gets. Is reading in dreams like this?[/b]
I have had this happen to me before. I guess it's how reading generally goes about in dreams.

I must be one lazy sleepwalker, I have rarely gotten out of bed, the furtherst I got was on the floor in my room to do a forward roll (I thought my PE teacher told me to). Thanks for the information. Also just an FYI, this seems to happen a couple of times a week and im 17
