Thread: have you ever tried this

has any1 tried to use there ipod or whatever u use to listen to music in an LD? I want to next time i LD. Was the music mested up or not? plz post and if u have not, plz try.

I once tried to play an Incubus CD, the song started in the middle but sounded ok. Then a cover of a justin timberlake song came on, I remember it sounding awful but didn't remember what it was. when I woke up I realized it wasn't a justin timberlake cover but a song i'd never heard. can't remember it anymore but it was pretty weird.
Other times that i have tried to play music the stereo doesn't work.

I also have quite a few dreams where I can hear music but not from a noticable source. Kind of like a dream soundtrack.
The most memorable is a LD i had where I was flying over the ocean to the song 'I'm only sleeping' By the beatles. I then saw geroge harrison sitting on the beach and decided to talk to him.

All I can suggest is give it a go and see what happens. Good Luck!

once i was walking in the snow in a non-lucid, listening to my ipod mini (a song by the mars volta-drunkship of lanterns), and singing along. suddenly i realized i was dreaming and became lucid for about 5 seconds before waking up.

the song was completely accurate..

Maybe, whenever you hear a song, it is burnt into your subconcious but is un-accesible in waking life but in subconcious life can be almost seamlessly replayed. Just a thought.
