      daily (nightly) lucid dreams

Has anyone here been able to achieve consistent lucid dreams (at least one per night)?

well, the last three nights i've had four lucids (which is extremely exciting for me, even though two were pretty short and vague). so as far as 3 day periods go, that's consistent

one of my long term goals is to lucid every night for a month straight...

Interesting. I have been entertaining the notion that if one devotes enough time and energy everyday to lucid dreaming, it would be relatively easy to lucid dream constantly (much like training everyday for a sport, or practicing an instrument). I think Laberge would agree.

i agree. i have begun tending to view lucid dreaming as mental weightlifting. you must work very hard to build up to a certain point, and then maintain and refine that level. once you are there it is fairly easy to maintain.

i think my main hinderance when i started learning lucid dreaming is that i would always imbibe cannabis or various other substances on the weekend which would effectively demolish most of my foundation of lucidity. and near the end of the next week i would just be struggling back up to the same point of making some progress, and fuck it up again.

Yeah I know what you mean. It's impossible to find in sweden, so I don't have to rely on willpower alone. I've had more dreams in the past four weeks I've been living here than the past 4 years or so before that combined.

      ya, me

I can do it every night, multiple times.

But once in a while I do some strange things (cheak my topic in the lucid expirience section)

I am able to LD nearly every night. At times, I believe my sleep is too deep, and despite my best efforts it does not occur. I have never relied on cues before...never had to. The dream begins to unfold, and I reshape whatever I wish to. However, I have been having trouble sleeping for a few months, and have begun taking the supplement Melatonin, in 1Mg doses. At times, it seems to greatly enhance my ability to LD, other times it seems to suppress it. There does not seem to be any pattern to the suppression; maybe yet another by-product of my sleep disorder . Perhaps the supplement, on top of fluctuating natural Melatonin levels in my brain is the culprit. Too much, and my sleep is too deep. Sounds logical...

...hope I haven't strayed too far off topic...
