      Trouble staying asleep

I'm fairly new to lucid dreaming. I've attained lucidity a few times but whenever I do I wake up soon after. I just can't seem to keep dreaming after i've realized that I 'm dreaming. Can anyone help me with ths?

Hey and welcome daydreamer. There's a lot of things to prevent this, and it will improve in time. Waking up so fast is usually because people get really excited when they become lucid, and this can disrupt it. Some common things you can do are rubbing your hands together, or dream 'spinning', where you pretty much spin yourself in a circle and it helps to stabilize everything. Looking at the ground can also, generally anything that can help you focus and that is sensory will help you stay in the dream longer.

I think relaxation will help you not get awake soon. relax before going to sleep, tell urself that a lucid dream is an exciting experience or anything poisitive.

When you want to awake, try to relax and return to sleep again, i tried that and it worked for a short period of time, but at least it worked
Dream positively, maybe your dream will come true someday!
