OK, I've made up my mind

My uncle and I both became interested in lucid dreams about a month ago. From then up until now, he's had two lucid dreams(albeit short ones), and I have had diddly squat. My uncle doesn't have a computer, hasn't bought any pills, doesn't know of the techniques. He just goes to bed and reminds himself about lucid dreaming. On the other hand, I have learned about all the techniques, tried WILDing, bought vit. b6 and swallowed them like a goddamn junkie. I've not even had a vived non-lucid dream since then. So I've decided to do what he's doing, and try not do so much research, forget the vitamin b6 pills, etc. So goodbye for now. You know I'll be straight back as soon as I break this dry spell, or have my first lucid dream. You know it.

      Sure will.

I have a feeling though that after a week or so, I'll still be stuck in the dry spell, in which case, I'll be back to my usual hopeless ranting, popping vit b6 pills, and WILDing like a maniac.

You dont seem overly confident that what ever you are doing will work.
This could be the main reason why you haven't had an LD yet.
Just before you go to bed tell yourself that you will dream, you will realise you are dreaming and you will remember your dreams. Dont think of lucid dreaming as a challenge just expect it to happen.
It sounds stupid but it works, its just about gaining the confidence and honestly believing it will happen.
It will happen, probably when you least expect it.
