My reason for asking this is, I've been taking medicine for my allergies for the past couple of months, and I haven't had a lucid dream or anything close to one. |

There are several medicines that impair LDing or even dreaming in general. Each medicine has slightly different effects on each person, so it's hard to say whether a particular medicine will affect everybody the same way. Either way, both of those medicines have a side effect of drowsiness-and when you're exhausted both recall and lucidity tend to fail. |

Like Tsen said its hard to say the effects of medicine on LDs, some can suppress LDs but some vitamins can make the dreams more vivid, e.g B6. |

Sometimes medications do supress LDS. However, your health is far more important than LDs. So, if you need to take the medication, don't stop because of the suppression. I mean, it sucks, but still... |
