Thread: has anyone spoken to their representative?

When i find myself in a Lucid dream i first want to sit down and talk to my representative... the subconciouss representaiton of myself and ask it questions.

Has anyone ever done this?

Sounds interesting but I'm confused. Do you mean sit and talk to YOURSELF? If so, then who are you in your dreams? I'm always just me in my dreams, in which case I'd have a hard time believing that I could find another "me" to sit and talk with.

Well, yes, it would be talking with yourself I suppose. Somebody who knows more about this could explain it for me?

Its something that I want to do, among other things.

Tjhands makes a valid point. I mean I didn't think it was possible to talk to yourself. Lots of times I can change my Dreamviews (LD only) For instance I can switch from 1st to 3rd persons at will but never can I converse with myself while im observing myself from 3rd persons Please explain how you are able to achieve this. I find it most interesting.

IN the Matrix... how Neo has hair? Its his "representation"... now what i mean is take your representative and sit him down and ask him stuff...

Like, what you see in the mirror, only then summoning it for real without a mirror.

I want to do this so badly. I'm still working on it. This is my biggest goal. Man, I can't wait to experience this and post it on the board.

This is my main goal for Lucid Dreaming since i started, it used to be flying, but now i'm curious as to how philosphical a discussion with ones subconcious could be...

I want to summon my subconcious in a human form, looks like me or not. i dont care. I will then try and have a discussion with it. Ask questions, get viewpoints etc.

Sounds interesting, being able to talk with a personafication of your subconcious, guess i'll be adding another item to the list of things i want to do as sonn as i'm able to LD.
