Comments or suggestions - Lucid Dreamers Kit

      Hey everyone,

For a university project I am putting together a lucid dreamers kit. The basic idea is that it contains:
      - a dream diary
      - a genral information book on the techniques used to learn lucid dreaming
      - a set of reality check stickers to be placed on wallet or mobile phone
      - a small poster to be placed in toilet or office summarizing the main techniques
      - an audio CD with a few interviews and podcasts I have gathered on lucid dreaming

I am looking for any comments or suggestions about this pack, mainly in the areas of aesthetics. One of the biggests problems I am facing is I want this pack to have credibility - something that wont be passed off as a new age fad.

Also do you think this pack would help someone new to lucid dreaming be able to learn it? Do you think the idea will work?

      Thanks to anyone that replies!

      Austin

Sounds like a great idea, how about making it a bit interactive.
You could have a deck of cards (like dream taro cards) with illustrated examples of dream signs and reality tests, like flicking the light switch and the radio comes on (DS) or my other favourite travelling down a busy street in my bed or naked. On the other side of the card you could list things to do in response, rate some of the most common DS categories (as in LaBerge’s “dream inventory”) & so on. Do much the same for RT’s.
Your dream diary could have a blank page for every couple of lined pages so people can illustrate their dreams, a bit of positive reinforcement. Throw in some highlights too like examples from art, literature and science of dreams influence on the waking would.
