ya thats the same reason that people wake up when they realize they are dreaming because there so excited that something theyve been wanting is finally happening... like sex i suppose. |
|
I seem to I have a natural talent for resisting excitement and waking up and can often have sex to orgasm in a lucid dream and then continue the dream afterwards. |
|
It's not impossible....I have had sex in my dreams without waking up and I have had sex in real life. Everyone is different though.... |

It has to do with excitement. If I had sex in a dream without wanting it, then I would keep dreaming, without waking up, unless I got shocked or something like that, of course. |
|
If I'm lucid and (try to) have sex --> I wake up |
|
This is kind of sketchy, but if you where a virgin in the waking world, and tried to have sex whilst dreaming, wouldn't part of your mind not really be able to "comprehend" it? Seeing as how you've never been through that experience in real life? But then again, the things most people have done whilst dreaming have definately never happened in the real world. Maybe sex is more of a 'big deal' thing for most people? |

“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” (or better yet: three...)

Whoah, people quoted me. That's so cool. |

Sex is definately possible in dreams, lucid or otherwise. I too, have the problem of waking up prematurely, but I have seen it to the finish on a couple of instances. I am not a virgin, but some of the erotic dreams I had were when I still was and they were pretty accurate. |
|
Just wondering, maybe I'm wierd, but why would you close your eyes whilst making out? I mean, I'd assume that you'd like the look of whoever it was that you're making out with, otherwise you wouldn't be doing it, right? |

my girlfriend used to always get mad at me when we'd kiss and i'd be watching something behind her....but i'm not sure that's the same thing. |

This topic/area is where I feel one of the best possibilities for a shared lucid dream experience is. An intimate couple who are very closely connected in many areas might be able to pull off a shared lucid dream sex experience with some effort. You people who are paired up with soulmates might give this idea some attention!! |
