I think a Dream Guide appeared in my non LD this morning

This past night, I woke up after 5 hours of sleep at 4:04 in the morning. I recorded some quick notes about my 2 Non LDs and decided after a few minutes that I might as well try a WBTB while I'm up this early.

So I did so and after I did my technique, I didn't feel that much in terms of the feelings or sensations that are sometimes felt during techniques but I felt a little. After about 20 minutes or so, I decided to call it quits. I started shifting around to get comfortable again to just fall asleep and I did after a while.

In my 3rd non LD, a character of whom's face I can't remember appeared and just stood about 15 feet in front of me. All he said was "11 more minutes and you would've had it."

Does anyone think that this was just a random saying by a dream character or that maybe it could've have been a dream guide telling me that if I stayed with the technique for 11 more minutes, I would've achieved lucidity?
Wait!! .......Am I dreaming right now?

Defiantly a possibility! I have had DCs help me out in getting my dream techniques better. If it's just part of my mind trying to get better at what I'm intending to do or some outside influence I don’t know... And really don’t care... What matters is that I am seeing results =) But I enjoy thinking that there is someone out there in my dreams trying to help me... Helps motivate me =)

Dream characters reflect pieces of yourself and consciousness. Perhaps you already knew you were close to getting an LD....Your DC just affirmed that to you in a dream.

Almost all of us have DC's, mine is a man wearing a black trench coat. I have no idea how this reflects on me, but he's there anyway. Different people have different DC's, some are helpful and some are not. Yours appears to be helping you.

My advice, try to find this DC more, for I believe that DC's have a lot to say.

in one dream i met a girl about 15 or 16 years old, but she looked like a child. she wore black and white. at one point i told her i think i might be dreaming, so she shrugged and suggested i try something. i tried to fly but it didnt work, and the dream went on normally. thats the closest i've had to a dream guide.

Weird! I just met my DG last night for the first time, too. It was a girl the same age as me, and she showed me how to control things by pointing my finger (like in Matilda ) Also, I asked her to prove to me that I was dreaming (my RCs have been failing a lot lately) and she did, by closing a door just by pointing her finger. Dream guides rock!
