Not sure if this will make sense or not, but here goes:

This morning when I woke up I remembered that I had a dream where I tried to yell but couldn't. I've also had dreams where I can't run. I am sure many of you have, as well.

This might just seem stupid, but I was thinking along the lines of something like this:

Maybe the reason some of us (while dreaming) cannot run is because we are really lying in bed, so our legs are unable to move. And when we "lurch forward awkwardly," I was thinking that was why we move around in our sleep sometimes.

The reason for not being able to yell might have something to do with the fact that: most people aren't going to be lying in bed during a dream and start yelling and waking everyone up. We know it's wrong, so that might be why we can't yell. (Maybe when little kids are able to yell during a nightmare or something, they do it in real life and their parents come to wake them up.)

Dunno, just something to think about.
