Hi Bella,

Yes this is certainly one of the deeper and potentially most useful aspects of lucid dreaming (appart from the endless sex ) Lol, just kiddin....

Can you do this?[/b]
I personally have not succeeded yet (I end up doing other stuff) but it does make a lot of sense. Think of people who are under hynotic trances. How they are so asseptable to outside influence. This is due partly because the person is speaking directly to a portion of their mind that they don't have control over - the subconscious. When you're dreaming, you are IN this same arena of your mine - except, you ARE aware of what's going on!

If you do will you get a valid answer or just the awnser you expect?[/b]
Ah, this is something that can be debated endlessly. How would you know? Many of us have the answers we seek already in our subconscious, we're just not aware of it. If you expect a certain answer, it could be that it's because you already know. Kinda tuff to really know for sure.

Do you just talk to it (ask a question out loud) or do you have to ask a spirit guide or another dream character?[/b]
This might be something up to you. You could try calling out your subconsious and have him/her appear. You could ask out loud or thinking it. The thing to remember is that the answer may also come in the form of a riddle or visually - and not be a simple "yes" or "no". This is simply because our dreams don't speak in such a simple language.
