Thread: First Lucid....or not :(

Hey guys,

Last night as a fell asleep doing FILD, i felt an odd sensation, thinking i might have just fallen asleep, i did a RC, which turned the result of awake. Several minutes later i felt this same feeling again, instead of doing a RC i just continued on for some time. At this poin i am already dreaming that im falling asleep doing FILD . Several minutes later i have what i think is a lucid. Im in some sort of office and decide to fly out the window, at that point i realize im dreaming and the dream fades. I wake up and immediatly go call my friend and tell him i finally did it, i had a lucid. During the phone call, i wake up....again. So now i wonder if it was actually a lucid dream or a dream in a drea mabout having a lucid dream. Either way im excited that i have had this unique experience

Sounds like an LD and a FA to me! At least you realized you were dreaming, even if it didn't last for very long. Great job!

what's the best and quickest way to do an RC when you wake up?

Well any reality check that's quick! One that doesnt take too much effort to bother doing when you're feeling sluggish on waking

To me- I think you became lucid for the first time and immediately lost it into an FA- FA's seem to happen after lucid dreams or in the middle of them. Gratz man. awesome! I think im going to try FILD tonight. I never seem to get anywhere with FILD though o0 I jsut stay wide awake.
