      Reading fanfics and imagination question

Does reading fanfics while in bed help you dream about what you have read?

also Can i have a better imagination with my eyes open or closed? Because i want to roleplay with my imagination.

Well, I think it depends. I think that if you are trying to dream about something in particular, the more that you focus on it (such as by reading stories about it), the more likely it will appear in your dream. It would have to be on a consistent basis, though. For the most part, a single day or event will have only a limited impact, depending on what the sitation was.

As for the eyes open or closed, it really depends. It doens't really help to "improve" your imagination, but when I'm practicing visualization, I usually listen to a piece of music and creat a story in my head to accompany it. I've done it both with eyes open and closed, though. I tend to zone out if my eyes are open.
