      Dry Spell

Hey, this may very well be the millionth topic on this but I thought I would let everyone know I haven't had a lucid dream in over a month now. Don't dry spells suck?

I don't mean to be hateful, but one must have a positive attitude before anything positive's going to happen.

What do I do about a one year dry spell? Well, about 3/5 of a year, but still, pretty bad.

being a very pessimist person, when it happened to me i always thought it "went away growing up and would never come back".
now i'm twenty i think it's too late to simply "forget how to do it with growth".
      well
      I hope

I recommend everyone that's become too lazy to focus on lucid dreaming to merely tell themselves they are probably going to have a lucid dream in the near future. You don't even have to put any concious effort into it (in fact, you shouldn't). Just kinda propose it to yourself, and imagine how much you'd like that to happen.
After all, motivation is a big part of lucid dreaming, and this will increase your motivation without having to put any effort into it. Hence, it will give you a good chance of actually breaking your dryspell.

Actually, for those who have been failing after trying too hard and getting frustrated, this might work as well. Just relax, stop trying, simply look forward to it. Just give it a shot everyone.
