      very weird

      well last night i had a weird dream that i was walking down the stairs, and then tripping. I jolted in bed which woke me up. Could this be Astral Projection(sp?) I read very little about it so im not so sure.

      Hello, welcome to DV!!
      I'm not sure about astral projection, as it's not something i really believe in to be honest.
      It sounds to me like it might have been a sort of hypnagogic imagery, something that occurs just as you are falling asleep. Were you having this dream just as you were falling asleep?
      Tripping downstairs is a common one with me...
      If you still think it's AP, perhaps you should check out the Beyond Dreaming forum. Or do a search for Astral Projection, that should throw up some interesting answers to your questions.

      yes it was just as I was falling asleep, i get those alot, like falling over desks(lol), stairs

      I've had many times where my body will suddenly jerk one way for no reason while I am relaxing. I'll also hear short but loud sounds that jolt me as well. I have tried WILD quite a few times but have trouble relaxing. The focus is not too much of a problem for me though.
