      List of Books/Movies about/with LDs

After reading about LDs, I discovered that a LOT of movies/books I've seen/read are somewhat connected to LDs, maybe even not on purpose...
Here is a small list of the few I remember right now (and explanation):

      1. TheWheelOfTime Series - 4th thru 11th book:
      Dreamwalking > http://encyclopaedia-wot.org:8008/main/tar.html

      2. Sergey Lukhianenko's "Zerkalniy laberint" series:
The whole book is about people connecting to a Virtual Reality which is "accessed" by getting hypnotized by a device that does flickering lights pattern so your brain gets "inside" the new world (person wears helmet with monitors, and clothing to emulate feelings).
The technology only helps you feel (since it's not all done by the brain as you are in the Internet... thus Lucid Crossroads?).

      3. Vanilla Sky
The whole movie is basically a dream of a guy almost dying(?)

      4. TheMatrix
Well somewhat related to N.2 and... you know..

      Many Others.
      Will continue tomorrow. Hopefully.

You should definitely see Waking Life. It's pretty much a long LD. It also has the coolest animation I've ever seen.

Also, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is sort of related to lucid dreaming. Very good film as well.

Book: The Art of Dreaming - by Carlos Castenada

This is one of my favorite books I have ever read. It talks about things very similar to LD.

Spongebob Squarepants Episode 15 Sleepy time (It may have been on LDing, but it was also kind of Beyond Dreaming with the entering dreams factor....)
Whom could ever forget the part that he uses his unconscious duplicate as a dream sign! (As seen in my Avie)

There were also some video games about Lucid Dreaming as well. We can't forget those classics:

      Super Mario Bros 2
      Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Therion released an album titled A'arab Zaraq - Lucid Dreaming. The different tracks resemble different phases of sleep and dream.

Aphex Twin have composed songs during lucids. They would create the tune whilst in the dream, wake up, and write it down. Very trippy stuff.

Lots of tv series have episodes about lucid dreaming Star Trek Voyager, Alias, Charmed, Coupling and probably many more.

Exploring the world of Lucid dreaming is a great book I knew about a lot of the things in there before but since I started reading the book I really understand how they work, it's very interesting.

Mirror Mask is the sickest movie ever. She the main charecter does reality checks and is in this huge dream world. I have never watched a movie that so truely reflects the feelings of my dreams such as this one.
