      Asleep WILD?

Hello everyone, I just was wondering about a few things. I’ve been trying to lucid dream for months with no success. Some really interesting things have happened in my dreams recently and I would like some opinions if possible. I seem to have problems lucid dreaming for my lack of being able to call a dream a dream. I have even faded in and out between dreams realizing in one that it wasn’t reality. I simply said sorry to my friends that this wasn’t real and I had to go, the dream ended there. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of how to overcome this. The other interesting thing is that I try to WILD every night before I go to sleep and these really weird episodes have happened. I don’t know if I'm awake or asleep during these as my state of conciouse is dreamy. What happens is I seem to realize I’m entering the dream world and try to WILD. It feels like my "self" for lack of a better word is entering the dream world threw the middle of my body like a vortex. I am totally blind when this is going on. The first time I lost conscious entering it, the second I literally seemed to crawl threw reality and began to open my eyes seeing my room, being stubborn as I am I still thought I was awake even though my conscious warped around threw reality and I could see my room glowing even though it is always dark, I then faded off into a dream. Would this be a Wild? Any ideas on this and how to overcome my refusal to accept I’m dreaming. Thanks for the time. Cheers

I dont know about your inablity to become lucid ( I too am strugeling with the same type of issue) but I can relate to your WILD. I have not got as far as you did becaue I am usually startled to open my eyes. I become very scared. I sort of seem to go on a "WILD" ride thats hard to describe.

I have experienced the same type of vortex as you and thought that if I could enter it I would be in a dream. I was never abil to do that but it is odd that we have the same experience.

After doing some reading I realized that entering a WILD before you go to sleep is rare. You should try to wake up after 4 to 6 hours, stay up for a while and go back to bed and then try to WILD. I this is a little tough for me to do right now so I continue to try to WILD. Most of the time I am just entertained by all of the Hypnotic Imagery untill I forget to be conscious and I go to sleep.

Yeah I have never ridden to the "Vortex of Self" or w/e you want to call it, consciously. These times I have entered the vortex I seem to regain conscious right on the verge of entering/exiting it, I then realize what it is and can consciously enter it threw an act of will. It is quite the experience to enter it, all sense of the body was gone I was more alike a liquid exiting my body hard to describe. It is very cool to know somebody else has had similar experiences! Thanks for the reply.
