Thread: Was this a LD?

After hearing about controlling dreams, and finding it terribly interesting. I, of course, googled it and came across this website. I read basicly everything and looked around the message board for awhile. I can't recal an actual LD, where I came to the actual realization I was dreaming, and remembered I had. But, I did recall this experience from about a month or two ago. Me and two of my friends were getting high, on weed, and took some all day ritalin them, two and me, three 1/2 (because I actually take it for my ADD, I needed more to feel the same effects) so we wouldn't get burnt out after our high was over. It was one of my friends first time, and the weed was really good, and made you trip out a lot. Well, the one friend got way too high, and started get really scared and trying to go upstairs and wake up my parents, so I spent about two hours sitting at my stairs so she couldn't go up, it exhausted me but I knew I had to make sure everything was okay. After everything had calmed down, and my friends were just laying on my couch, I was extemely tired and not really high anymore, so I layed down and I could feel myself drift down into a deeper sleep, and the realized I was sleeping and that I couldn't sleep incase my friend would go upstairs I made a noise to wake myself up, I did this about three or four times, the same thing happening each time. After that the ritalin took over and we sat up for a couple hours.

I'm not sure if I would consider this a lucid dream, because I'm not sure I was dreaming or not, but I was aware I was asleep. I don't really know if this was because of the drugs or the worry that my friend was going to go upstairs, or it was just me having a LD.
