Yep, it is difficult. But what I do is imagine what it would be like if I was underwater. Sometimes that helps. Or try to focus yourself on just ONE consistent sound, like a gentle humming sound. |

I just let my mind go off and let it have thoughts. Usually I'll think about something myself, like what I'd like to become, or a past memory. That enables me to get really relaxed and enter these stages, it's just that I usually recognize the cut-off point (if I am concious enough I will notice a falling into my body feeling which is my body telling me I've entered SP). It works for me because once I feel that, all thoughts just cease without me making any effort to stop them, and it goes black, but I'm still there, aware that I am in SP. |
