that does sound weird. how do you know that it is pre-REM. I go into REM in about 5 minutes (that is what the sleep doctor said/the doc said I have a variant of narcolepsy). Maybe you go into REM in that amount of time too. |

I am not sure if this is like everyone, but I have at least one pre-REM dream every night. I will always wake up about an hour after I slept and remember it fully. Either that or it will be the kind of dream where I am falling off of a bench and jump up (wake up) right before I hit the ground. |

hmm.. well ya i said pre-rem because i read that like you said MOST dreams are rem... and i also read that rem does not start until later in the night, like hours after you fall asleep. |
