      Nightmare On Elm Street..........

      hey everyone

when i was about like 13, i had a nightmare..about Freddy Kruger..I'm sure you all know who he is..if you dont..he is an awesome dude that runs around in a dirty green and red sweater with a hella cool hat on his head and a glove with five knives on it and kills you in your dream...

Anwayz...i had a dream when i was 13 that he was in it..and he ended up cutting me on my stomach with his knives...and i woke up and really quickly turned on my light..and i looked at my stomach where he cut me in my dream..and i had like 4 slash marks like it was like in my dream, where he had exactly cut me in my dream...

Now i'm wondering...why did that happen??? and i was also wondering--i know its just a movie BUT......

Do you think it would be possible...to have a Lucid Dream...and to grab a hold of something small and when you wake up, have it end up with you in bed...i mean since i had the marks on my stomach, when i had that dream...it kinda transformed into Reality, from the dream world??

i dunno, i think its kind of a dumb question..but the thought just came to me when I thought about that dream....

      Thanks

are u sure u really saw them and not just right when u woke up? cuz ive woken up and almost saw through my hands. like they were clear or something. but only for a few seconds.

that would be awesome is it were possible to bring something back from the dream world. like a massive stack of cash

I struggle to believe this entirely, which I'm sure is understandable. Maybe you scratched your fingernails across your stomach, which would leave red marks for probably an hour. But if you are implying something beyond normal, I really don't think so.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.

i believe that anythings possible, because we do not know enough about dreaming to dismiss these ideas...

Go to my "is anything possible???" topic on general discussion to see what i really mean.

And by the way your right about freddy kruger, he is cool...

Freddy Kruger was the bane of my childhood. He was in my dreams almost every night. It was horrible. But then, I guess that helped me grow stronger with my LD ability I guess.

Nightmare on Elm Street 3 is what helped me start fighting back in my LD nightmares instead of just trying to get out of them all the time.

That's the one that gave me nightmares in high school.... yes, high school, before I found out about LDing. Ugh! Not cool.

At any rate, I'm over the NoES movies. I caught one on TV and was fine. But as far as this topic goes, I agree with Matchbook said about how you may have scratched yourseld (as you can probably feel that in your dream). Also, you could have been laying on something that may have created the imprints. Or it could have been an FA.

      Re: Nightmare On Elm Street..........

Did you have scars? Or was it just a quick thing that soon faded. It could have been a false awakening.

Or it could have been something really weird. Like a dream that seemed like weeks. ive heard of such a thing although it seems sketchy. I don't know, did you tell anyone about it that can confirm that you had the scars? you could have dreamed a very realistic dream that seemed like a matter of days all in which you had the scars?

spiritofthewolf: when my leg or joints or something hurts my mind makes a dream about it.
ex. I've been rewriting my school notes on a computer so I could study from that for exams. After two weeks of typing and watching a computer screen my fingers hurt and my eyes as well.
I was started getting dreams where someone rips my eyes out of its place...that someone stomps on my fingers ...usually pretty drastic and realistic. You just realize that it is just a dream but you wake up and your eyes are all red like and your fingers hurt as they never hurt before.

This actually happens to me quite often and other people told me that they have same dreams when something really hurts them. Could it be that?

I mean, you could accidentaly scratch yourself during sleep and then have imediately this dream. that's how it happens. but nothing extraordinary.
