Question 'Brillaint Dreams Dream Aid' - Need Experienced Opinion

      Hey Guys,
I was browsing for some Lucid Dreaming info and I came across :

I spent a good while reading up and I'm at a loose end as to what I think of them, could someone give me there experienced opinion whether to try them or not. I can get a good Lucid dream about once a week but even then its pretty vivid, I just wonder if this is the little push I need to really get the hang of Lucidity.

      Thanks for your time
      -McLoone

I don't know. I didn't spend much time on the site, so I don't know what's in it, but I would guess it's just a multivitamin. There are probably better, less expensive aids on the site.

Which multivitamins do you reccomend ? They seam to claim alot with the aids, saying it increases lucidity, surely they must have some advantages over Multivitamins?

      Thanks

I gave this supplement a shot before, and I actually experienced poorer recall and generally fuzzier dreams while taking it. The main supplement in it is supposed to be galantamine (combined with melatonin). For the combination, it is probably the cheapest out there (otherwise you would just buy the two separately along with some B vitamins).

Didn't work for me, but perhaps it will for you. Good luck.

      Hiya McL!
I've used "Brilliant Dreams" and "Lucid Dreamer", another galantamine combo; LD differs from BD in that it's mixed with choline as opposed to melatonin. When I first started taking these supplements--alternating them back & forth, I had really cool (and totally abstract and far-out dreams). However, lately the dreams, while vivid, are not so "cool"; rather they're problematic with a sad--sometimes just plain boring, theme. I think that I'm probably gonna take a break and go back to the tried 'n true old fashioned method of doing reality checks throughout the day, and then simply waking up 3 hours ahead of my usual time, logging all of the dream I can remember, returning to sleep, and repeat my affirmations that I WILL have a lucid dream. This always worked for me in the past, however the herbs have made me somewhat mentally lazy. Yes, they do work; however like anything else, they can be over-used and perhaps start to lose their effectiveness. So I think the keyword here is moderation. Be well & God bless.

Meh, don't bother with it. They don't even have any customers claiming the stuff works, though if they did I'd still be skeptical. No chance that I see of it working.
