      Lucid dreaming??

I am new to this lucid dreaming thing although I have been having vivid memorable dreams as long as I can remember. I was told that a lot of the anwsers to questions about my life I can find in my dreams...I'm not quite sure what that means. From what I understand lucid dreaming is more about controling what you dream and recongizing that you are dreaming...and I correct in that? And if I am...then wouldn't that mean that I can create the anwsers I want to my questions that I have during waking hours?? I am quite confused with this entire concept. Anyone that is able to help me in this it would be greatly appreciate!!!! Thank you in advance!!

You are correct in saying that a lucid dream is a dream in which you are aware you are dreaming. Now, don't confuse this with dream control. You can control a dream without being lucid, and you can be lucid and not have any control. The two things are not dependant on each other.

I'm not sure I understand your question about creating answers to your questions in real life... you mean, have answers to real life problems come to you in dreams? Because that can happen without being lucid. Some people actually use lucidity as a way of practicing things - like sports, a speech, whatever. I personally haven't gotten to that stage yet but it can be done.
