      What happened las night?

Hi, everyone, i have had this experience, but i dont think its a lucid dream, what is it,?
well, it was about 10 pm, and i was lying in bed, i fell asleep, when suddenly, i gained conciusnes, i had my eyes open, i could see, and i could think almost normaly, my thoughts were a bit blurred, well to be sincere, i was scared, i tried to move my arms, but they felt like they weithed a thousand pounds, i got really scared, i tried to move my neck and i couldnt, either, by then i was really scared all i could do was think franticly of waking up, and looking up, suddenly i felt like i was trembling, my whole body was shaking, violently, i triyed to say something or yell, but only a kind of moan escaped my lips, THATS, when the really weird thing happend, i was shaking really violently, when i felt like i was rising from my bed, literally rising, i saw the roof closer by the minute, the trembling got stronger, i felt a kind of pressure in my head, thats when i woke up, everything, got black for a second, or was it minutes? i fell back down...what the f_ck happened?

      please help

heh you should search the forums before posting this because practically everyone has had this, its called sleep paralysis, when you go to sleep each night your body releases chemicals that paralyse you so that you dont get up and act out what your doing in your dreams, this usually kicks in once your asleep but if your trying to lucid dream or your particularily concious while your body is falling asleep it may kick in while your away, its a good way of getting into a WILD.
it also happens if you wake up before your body does.
I guess people are not ready for the whole new world that awaits them.
