Yes, as in when one's ears pop to accomidate the new pressure. Next time you yawn, try to feel something in your ear. It sometimes feels like a WILD as there's a buzzing/humming sensation in the middle ear. Last time I had a good long WILD, it felt like I was yawning.
I have also found that when I wake up from naps, my ears are sensitive to pressure, as I had undergone WILDing recently, just unconsciously. If I hiccup after a nap or something, I feel the pressure on my ears.
I don't know why WILDing would have anything to do with pressure, but it sure feels like it does. It shouldn't quite feel like a pop though. If one has never felt the sensation during a yawn, then I can't explain it to them.
(The yawn must be a real one, as in with mouth fully open. Half yawns don't do anything.)
