      Insomnia?

Has anyone else experienced insomnia since beginning to practice LDing? I'm waking up every couple hours, and not the good kind where you write down your dream and fall back to sleep; the bad kind where you spend the next couple hours or more tossing and turning and feel exhausted the next day.

Or could be unrelated, I've had a stressful past couple days. Insomnia has generally been pretty rare for me.

I've been having insomnia too Mostly I'm just super aware of my surroundings now, like I'm waiting for some kind of cue haha For example, my fan made a slight noise that was out of the usual and I just jolted awake -_- Is it like that for you?

Also, for some reason ever since I read about WILDing, I have trouble going to sleep normally Maybe since I know that there's that option now? Do you practice WILDing?

I have been trying to WILD, but have not achieved success with that technique. However, when I fall asleep after WILDing I often have a DILD - I suppose just from incubating that intention...

Still looking forward to my first WILD though!

Hmm so far I haven't had any DILDs from WILDing...maybe because I expended all my energy on the WILDing and then passed out afterwards I hear WILD can be quite tough to master; I personally haven't succeeded at it yet either.

Have you tried the "FILD" method? It doesn't really work for me, but a lot of people have reported high success rates?

WILDing makes me really jumpy afterwards for some reason Maybe it is also the source of your insomnia?

I keep waking up after 5 hours of sleep without an alarm clock, and no matter how tired I am, I can't fall back asleep. Since I am not reaching REM as normal, my dreams are rare nowadays. WILDs have been down since I'm not having caffeine right before bed, but I can't reach REM as back up. Its no fun at all.

Sleep trouble sucks almost as hard as having one's tailbone gummed off by an old lemur.
