Thread: Research paper help?

Hello hello hello everyone. Good to be apart of the forums.

I've been interested in dream analysis/interpretation for quite some time now. I'm now taking a Research Methods class and we have an assignment of writing a research paper. We can write on any topic we want and since I've always been interested in this topic, I figured it was as good a time as any to learn more about it. So I have chosen dream analysis as my topic and I'm curious if someone out there can point me in the right direction for some questions I'm trying to answer for my paper.

I've found some info but these are a couple of questions I haven't been able to find any answers to during my research. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I hope after this paper that I can help others out there who are just starting out with some research.

Who is/are the leading experts on dream analysis?

Is it primarily based on science or is it more of an art? Such as Astrology or Psychology.

How do the sciences like biology, physiology and psychology view dream analysis?

What are the major tenants of dream analysis? Are there any?

Are there any major or accredited Universities doing research? If so, what are they looking at or what area they finding?

Is anyone looking into dream analysis and psychic ability? What are they finding?


If anyone can help...I owe ya big time. If no one can or they feel like they'd be doing my paper for me, then sorry this post should be deleted. I already have all of the info for the second half of the paper but I want to start out with this type of info which leads into the second half more easily.
