Seriously, my subconsious is screwing with me.

About all of my dreams were outside. So an idea popped into my head- before I go to bed tell myself that when I'm outside, I'm dreaming, and too know I'm dreaming.

      Guess what happens.

      All my dreams are inside.

      Son of a bitch....

Don't worry, BD, what you're experiencing is not uncommon at all. I've seen a lot of members report that once they've identified a Dream Sign, that sign suddenly stops appearing in their dreams, or at least doesn't appear as frequently. I think you're explanation that your subconscious is screwing with you, is as good as any.

hehe that is totally what happened to me. I was trying to associate a Reality Check with something that would be like impossible to avoid. So I'm thinking "Hmm? What would be hard to avoid... Oh I know people! I am like never alone in my dreams so when I go to bed at night I will set my mind to do an RC next time I talk to ANYONE." Heh... so for my trouble I dream I am in a field, building a musical instrument out of car fuses(WTF?!) and completely alone. I have officially been owned by my own brain.

I'm glad I'm not the only one whose brain is uncooperative. I can trick my subconscious but only once or twice the same way. It seems like something in my head is very resistant to LD; this "subconscious something" is stubborn but not very smart and does not seem to have access to my conscious thoughts. It is a strange feeling.
