      Recurring nightmares, anyone?

Post here any recurring nightmares you had as a kid, or still have.

The only one I've ever had (3 times total; about 10 years old) was one where I was sat on a low table facing the garden in my living room, with my mum doing embroidary on the sofa. I would hear the gardn gate open, and three white skined men in hoods and dressed entirely in black would start walking slowley to the back door. One would turn his face to me and he was comepletely faceless - no features at all. I would start to cry as I heard the back door open and my mum would ask me why I was crying, and I wouldn't be able to tell her.

My "as a kid repeating nightmares":

My dad and I are in a traffic jam because there is a machine that eats cars in the middle of the highway. All the kids have to get out of the cars and fend for themselves while the parents go into battle with the machine. We usually group together, and find a good hiding spot.

I'm in a little town, and a T-Rex is scheduled to come. Everyone has a safe spot: the little kids are in this bubble and the adults go into the buildings, but the kids my age have no safe place, and have to run away from the T-Rex with no shelter.

I go downstairs to my basement (a scary place to begin with) and go to the laundry room, and down the laundry shute come hamburger buns, but they look like monkey mouths, and they begin floating and chomping at me.

      My recent repeating nightmares:

A huge rat comes down my street and I have to hide from it (do you see a repeating theme?)

I'm in my house being chased by someone, and every single door and drawer goes to a staircase, and opens into another door or cabinet or drawer. If I get cornered into my room, I can just hop into my closet, and end up in a kitchen cabinet

Turn round and look at what's chasing you. You'll be surprised.

      Yes, definitely.

I made a topic with some info on this a while back:
