I just don't get it. You all seem to be really able to forget a LD...I mean...ehm maybe it depends on the degree of lucidness.
Because I can't really imagine someone forgetting a dream he created himself (because I usually do create the setting), a dream where he had to think himself to move on (if the setting is set, the plot isn't so I have think about my actions, I think about other characters actions etc).
really what it would be if you forgot all your LDs?
Everything which happens in LD seems to be real even if you know it ISN'T. You feel the pain, exhaustion, you can hear, you can even speak, you feel every emotion....you just...you LIVE in those dreams. How could you forgot all of this as you forget a normal dream?
I agree witj blade5x. What he wrote makes sense. But you don't usually forgot that. You can easily forgot what you did on an ordinary thursday but LDs aren't usually "ordinary".
Ehm sorry for a long post...but I just don't get it that people can forget their LDs like a dream. If I forgot LDs I don't know about it. (I mean I know that I forgot them for a while but they come back when someone asks me about them...)
Natural LDer who can't say her level of lucid ability

It just happens; my LD's are lost as easily as regular dreams, if I don't write them down. Luckily as far as I know I have always been motivated to write them down right away (except for once and that is gone).

You may be right that it has to do with the degree of lucidity; I am not yet achieving full control, or really much control at all. Maybe when that improves, they will seem more real even after I wake up. I have the problem of being lucid with only part of my mind. I forget a lot of my goals when I am in an LD.
