      Hi everyone!

Ive been a member her for around 2-3 months and up until a few weeks i could remember just about everydream i had. Ive had about 5 Lds i had were by accident (ive tried the thing where you wake up 6 hours after u go to sleep and read about lds but i havent had any results as yet) i am wondering how come i cant remember any of my dreams even though a few weeks ago i could remember 3-4 dreams a night. One thing i think may contribute is that ive been using an alarm clock which frightens the crap outta me when im asleep and might have the potential to wipe my memory. No events have happened to scare me or make me depressed anything so im not sure whats goin on. Is there anything that can help me remember my dreams and get back on track so I can get back to trying to get lucid at will?

      Cheers all

      Hi Canman.
Is this alarm clock (which scares the crap out of me too&#33 uses in order to wake up or used periodically for a WBTB method or some other use.
If it is just waking up It should not have an impact unless you were in the midst of a dream at the time.

Some other things that i have seen contribute to a loss in dream recall.
      - a change in sleeping patterns (place - temperature - amount of time sleeping)
Summer break often leads to a change in sleep patterns.
      - Medication or herbs. either prescribes or recreational usually has implications.
      - Phases. It seems that we just at times go through droughts, as we would like to call them. I am not sure of the reason though. Cycles, circadian clocks perhaps.
      - a stop in journal entries.
