I went to bed real early today, at 8:00, with the intention of having a long sleep and having some nice vivid dreams, hopefully some lucid dreams. It's now 2:00 am and I still haven't slept. I'm going to get very little sleep tonight and not much REM time. Every once in a while, I'll have a freak bout of insomnia like this, it's VERY frustrating. I don't like taking sleeping pills because they make me feel really groggy in the morning, especially if I take it late when I am having one of these bouts of insomnia... anyone have suggestions for falling asleep naturally? |
