      Sorry Howetzer!

I've not had time to even think lately
(WMAO - Working My A** Off).

I'll add to the list as I get a chance. When everyone thinks the list is complete, I'll turn it into a glossary of terms in the tutorials section.

I agree, a tool-tip would be nice. Let me pop over there and see if their forum is using phpBB.

      EDIT:********************************************* ***

      Here is what they have:

They are using phpBB, same as us, but I don't know if there is any special coding involved. I'll bring it up with Icedawg and see if anything can be done.

ah, yes...ld4all. our arch rival. heh. the two of us seem to be the only actually-popular lucid dreaming forums that exist. they're ahead of us in posts, people, and have been around longer...but, we seem to be attaining more posts per day than them because the gap used to be a lot bigger.

i don't agree with their paradigm--IMO, they're propagating the idea that LD's are new-ageish and kind of flaky; I'm trying to make this place look professional to hopefully bring lucid dreaming closer to becoming mainstream and help it gain a larger acceptance. i think too many sites present lucid dreaming in the same light as ld4all does.

anyway, i can add that feature (when i find time).

      Lol, ld4all, I haven't been there for a while.

But yea, Ice is right. They are more liberal in their LD stuff. I do like many of their topics though. Pretty intresting experiments they do.

I like your approach - it is needed indeed. Though I still like ld4all as a forum. Good luck!

Oh for sure. I didn't mean to sound so negative; that forum's been around awhile and I'm sure there are a number of great people there sharing ideas and thoughts. Also, I've been impressed with a few things that they've done. I just again wanted to help attenuate the stigma that encompasses lucid dreaming and present it in a new light.

Also, I stumbled on that seaoflife forum a few days before you mentioned it, and am rather intrigued with their dream teams. I'm contemplating trying something like that here.

ld4all has a section that posts who has the most Lucid dreams per month. and then locks the post each month.

Would that cause additional stress to those that are in dry spells?

Yeah, good point Seeker, it probably would. I know that if I was in a dry spell I'd be jealous and frustrated of a competition like that.

Anyone else have anymore useful acronyms to share?
