That is a false awakening. It happens sometimes when you go lucid. In my experiences they are very real and can be annoying if you don't realise you are still sleeping. |

Last night I had a pretty weird dream. I was just having a normal day (in the dream) and then I realized that I was dreaming. However, right then everything changed (like I had woken up). But, I didn't wake up, I was still in the dream. I was thinking to myself (in the second part of the dream) that I had had Lucid Dream; that I had remembered my dream from the previous night and that somehow contributed to it. What I want to know is, how can I use this experience to my advantage? |

I dont know if you are trying to follow the tutorials on this and other websites to attain lucidity already, but if you are I would say just keep going. |

I just consider the fact that I even had a lucid dream was a great experience. I hope I can do it again. I actually had one about 4 years ago or so and I remember saying to myself "this must be a dream". I don't remember much else about it though. If you have any more tips or thoughts let me know! |

I've only had one in my lifetime. It was part of the Oprah Winfrey nightmares (yes, laugh away |

can FA's always happen when you go lucid or is it a rare thing? |

An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules.

I think it can happen in any dream, cause I know I've had it happen quite a few times that I can remember. Plus, I don't remember all of my dreams, so it's probably not too rare. It probably depends on the person though, but as for me I would say it's moderately common. |

i had an fa. |

Do you know where you are?
FA's are the best sign to me that i am dreaming. They scare you if you dont know what they are before they happen. I had one before i knew about lucid dreaming and i thought i was near death or paralyzed. Once you know you are having a FA it's almost impossible not to become lucid and in control |

They happen very frequently when you try to go lucid, and infrequently (I wouldn't say rarely) when you're not trying to go lucid (but you may be on the verge of going lucid). |

As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.
From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.
