Well now that LDing is starting to come pretty easily to me (had 4 this past week)..

Something I'm working on now - actually calling out my subconscience to talk me in the form of a dream character.

I achieved it last night, but all I could remember from my brief conversation was:

Me: "Am I lucid dreaming to much (in the sense that I'm interrupting your regular schedule?"
      Sub/DC: "No, it's fine."

Anyone else do something like this, and maybe became enlightened or found out something cool about themselves?

Once I get a good connection going I'm going to see if I can be taken back into older dream, memories, etc, etc. I also hope it will help me develope better control. My lucid dream control sucks despite all the lds I've had. I still can't fly whenever I want to, scenes don't always play out as I want to, etc.

Heh you're like the exact same as me. Lucids have been coming easily for me since August (thought not WILDs like yours unfortunately....) and my dream control sucks.

I'll try talking to a DC/my subconcious next Lucid Dream I have, hopefully soon. Usually I just ignore DC's.

Sounds like a cool idea, I wonder if it's any different from talking to a regular dc...

When i started getting quite into the flow of lucid dreaming, I did start asking really tough questions to dream characters, but something always really frightening happend... they would turn into some hideous monster and strangle me etc... Some of the scariest stuff I have ever seen and it woke me up in a panic (or FA me).

The last time I tried it I asked my partner at the time, in my dream, a very tought question and this happened to her and she viciously attacked me, which made me have a false awakening..but of course she was awake right next to me in my flase awakening and started lashing out again, another FA, another lash out, this went on and on and on and on scaring the hell out of me for what felt like an enternity. When I finially work propperly I was in a sweat and pretty dazed for a while.

It was probably the most single scariest moment of my life...

Hehehe no to put anyone off. I plan to do it again soon, just gotta realise that they are reacting like that because its what I expect. I think whatever you *think* might happen or what you *think* thier answer will be, will be the reply you get from them (just amplified greatly).

So, I expect my next encounter to be very plesent and enlightening

As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.

From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.

I usually have a set goal for my next few LDs. Sometimes it is hard to think properly, but you end up getting used to it. Like for example when I wanted to go through a mirror, it took two or three lucids before I finally remembered to try it. Then I was able to it again the next lucid before I changed tasks.

First it was getting into outerspace - did that a few times but my dream could never really produce amazing images. I've had some pretty weird and cool trips out there, but I wanted to see something that looked spectacular, like in those pictures where you are just "wow".

Second was improving dream quality. I was pretty successful in that, especially in vision. I had vision better than my waking 20/15 vision. I saw twigs in the distance moving, each individual blade of grass over 100 feet away, it was pretty amazing.

Third was Astral Projection from a LD. I believe I had a few succesful transitions, but they were not fun. I would get a feeling of chaos transition from the dream to the obe, so I just decided to stick to wilds when trying to AP.

Fourth was flying through mirrors and seeing where it would take me. Only have done this twice (still working on it), and both times I ended up in some kind of voids. The first one was all white, no floor, no physical objects, just red/green colors around me and off in the distance (kind of web-like). The second time I went through, I start flying really fast, I mean unbelieveably fast it got painful. I was moving in some dark tunnel I guess, because I saw various colors streaking by really fast.

Now it is talking to my subconscience, which is probably the biggest thing I am going to be working on. I think we're cool with eachother right now. I actually hugged the DC which was supposed to be my subconscience and thanked it for what it's given me so far, and was happy that is was fine with me lucid dreaming. I've never had a serious problem with it, it's always been there for me (cosm maybe try to work on establishing a good relationship with it?) Like I said, if I can access old memories, old dreams, and learn other things about myself through this method, I'll be on this for quite sometime.

Have you noticed that meditating in Lucid dreams is much more powerful, and has affected you more than in a normal meditation when you're awake?

I may have experienced talking to it as that is the only logical thing I can think of that happened to me since 3 days ago. Even though it wasn't in a LD I was fully awake and I asked my subcon a question (I really meant it 200% more emotionally than ever) An when I was sleeping I realize my subconcious mind and myself was talking it was more of a teacher/student dynamic. An like only time I would hear it is when I physically woke up and twist and turned to go back to sleep. At one point I remember saying "I got it" and then I was saying so many examples to him and one example was so deep, I know this because I broke down that example 3 times.

An when I woke up I had realized what happened and I had no clue what the question or the answer was. I sat in school thinking well and hard what is it that was going on. For past 2 days I've caught myself being taught inside my head and I even accidentally had a Realtime projection I know this because I remember moving in my bed, then hearing the lecture, then suddenly was able to see my room as if my eyes were open i moved a few feet off to my right and instantly woke back up and then I realized I had projected.
