      Ahh! Almost? Or No?

Okay guys, so after going to bed really tired at like 12:30, I may or may not have almost gained beginning ludidity. Maybe. Anyways, in the dream we were in my moms friends house, but her and her friend (D for short) wern't friends. D left, and me and my mom shared a bed and my two sisters took the other bed in the other room. Anyways, this boy (maybe..10-ish) with the last name of Bradley was chasing them, saying that "For a Bradley to live one of you must die", so I picked up a chair and wacked him with it, holding him in between the chair legs. The next thing I know we're hitting him with these colored light beam swords. And then I remember thinking "What if this is a dream in a dream" and I woke up. Heart pounding. I thought for a minute, and was about to go back to bed when I thought of the forum, and my words came back to me so I wrote down what I could remember. So guys..what do you think?!
If you prick us do we not bleed? If you tickle us do we not laugh? If you poison us do we not die? And if you wrong us shall we not revenge?

      Premature awakening, ya?

Isn't it funny how you managed to go through all those unusual scenarios without realizing that something's weird...until the last minute?

Yeah, it is really amazing what the mind will believe. I wake up sometimes and feel like kicking myself for not getting lucid after a weird dream!

wasn't a lucid dream, but if you'd stayed in the dream just a little bit longer you probably would have realized it. remember you should always do a reality check as soon as you wake up, because you may have a false awakening...

Lol I remember a lot of times I would get up after not becoming lucid during flying dreams and feel dumb.

As for the dream, that was not lucid but it seemed like you were really close.

I also remember many times that I was actually there but unable to control what was going on. But when I realized that it was a dream, I would wake right up and then not able to go back to sleep for a while. You have to learn to stay calm and control youself so that you don't wake up. The first few times is always the hardest. I still sometimes wake up when I don't want to.

      Perfect takes practice... umm.. yea!
