      Hullo there folks!

I recieved a really interesting assignment from my psychology teacher.

I must concentrate on one of three problems before I go to sleep and try to dream about them. The assignment is for non-lucid dreams, but I wanted to get everyone's take on them and see what you guys thought, if you've ever heard of anything similar. And as well if you think they could be figured out in a lucid dream.

      Here are the problems

      #1
The Letters O, T, T, F, F . . . Form the beginning of an infinite sequence. Find a simple rule for determining any or all successive letters. According to your rule, what would the next two letters of the sequence be?

      #2
Consider the letters H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O. The solution to this problem is one word. What is this word?

      #3
      The numbers 8, 5, 9, 1, 7, 6, 3 ,2 form a sequence. How are these numbers ordered?

      What do you mates think?

I know the answer to the first one. I didn't know it right away when I read your post yesterday, but it hit me upon rereading it today. I've seen that one before, but I don't think I've seen the other two.

I'm curious to know the answers to the other two, and beyond the actual answers, I'm curious to hear if they inspired any interesting responses in people's dreams.
The new evolutionary paradigm will give us the human traits of truth, of loyalty, of justice, of freedom. These will be the manifestations of the new evolution. And that is what we would hope to see from this. That would be nice.

Dreams are great for answering questions and puzzles. I've fallen asleep a few times while trying to solve something, and dreamt up the answer.

Consciously, I don't even know where to start on those questions, we'll see if my dreams shed a little light on it.

That is an interesting project! I doubt my subconscious would be so inclined to clue me in on what it thinks, but still. I'm pretty sure I know the answers to the second two, but I'm not sure about the first one.

Let us know how it goes!

EDIT: Oh, pfft... I figured out the first one. It'd be hard to not think of them during the day.
