So I just moved out of the country and finally have settled down again enough to start working on lucid dreaming again. |

Sleep paralysis is the result of residual consciousness arising before the reticular activation system can synthesise monoamine oxidase productivity. |

I would rather not do that. I like my SP because it makes me lucid. Instead I concentrate on "rolling" out of my body (aka astral projection, which I think is just another type of lucid dream) and going into a lucid dream. That always stops the paralysis for me and as a bonus I get to have an LD as well. You should try it. |

I haven't experienced that, yet I have with enormous willpower, kind of forced my body to move, i cant quite describe how... but never with swallowing. It makes sense though since you can do breathing that you'd be able to swallow. But don't automatically try to get out SP can be the way to LD's, I wish I could get it all the time |

Brothers & Sisters in Dreams
What I do is put the alarm on the other side of the room and make it REALLY loud so I HAVE to get up and shut it off =P |

I agree w/ tomeeka and bro. SP is my personal favorite way to induce a Lucid Dream, b/c the moment you realize you cannot move, you know you are still asleep and can then go about separating your dream body from your actual body. You can do so by rolling out of your body or by trying to float out of your body (not recommended, b/c it takes a while to do and makes me lose my control). |

Lucid Master "Always Lucid At Will"
To get out of SP I move my arms up as far as I can. Pushing the limits seems to make me tired and usually brings me out of SP |
