IM AN EXPERT IN LUCID DREAMING, I'VE DONE THIS MANY TIMES AND NOW REALIZE THE POWER IT HAS ON OUR MINDS.....A LUCID DREAM IS ALWAYS INDUCED BY SOME FORM OF IMPORTANCE TO YOU IN YOUR "REAL" LIFE...THE OTHER DAY I HAD AN LD, I TRIED TO SHOOT SOME GUNS THAT DIDN'T WORK THEY KEPT BREAKING IN MY HANDS OR NO HITTING TARGETS, I THEN CONCENTRATED ON DESTROYING THE TARGET AND EACH SHOT DID SOME JUSTICE. THEN I REALIZED IM DREAMING AND SAID LET ME TOUCH SOMETHING, I TOUCHED SOME SORT OF GREY OUTLET THAT WAS ON A WALL HIGH UP ABOUT 6FT FROM GROUND AND SAID WOW IT FEELS SO REAL. THE MOST AMAZING THING IN LIFE IS TO LUCID DREAM YOU KNOW YOUR DREAMING BUT COMPREHENDING HOW REAL IT FEELS IS SOMETHING ELSE AND SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED AS A GIFT, TO THEN REALIZE THAT WE REALLY LIVE A EXCITING WORLD OR 2 REALITIES, ONE WAY MORE SOPHISTICATED THAN THE OTHER, NOW LET ME ASK YOU IF GIVEN THE CHOICE WHICH WOULD YOU PICK? OR WOULD YOU NOT PICK AND HAVE THINGS STAY THE SAME WHERE YOUR IN REALITY AND HAVE LD'S.. MAKES YOU VALUE LIFE A LITTLE MORE DOESN'T IT. LETS ALL REALIZE WE ARE GIFTED SOME MORE THAN OTHERS IF WE LEARN HOW TO REALLY GRASP IT IMAGINE WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR US EITHER IN THIS LIFE OR ANOTHER, MAYBE THAT OF OUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN, LETS REALLY TAKE LD'ING TO THE NEXT MILLENIUM WHERE WE MIGHT BE LIVING IN LUCID DREAMS AND HAVE DREAMS ABOUT REALITY, OF COURSE WE WON'T BE LUCID IN REALITY CAUSE WE WONT KNOW THAT REALITY IS NOT REAL........

yo try not to post after eating peanut butter and crack sandwiches, k? maybe u didnt realize, but you had caps lock and bold on the whole time. thats the internet equivalent of "im high on crack right now."
these jokes in no way reflect the opinion of mountain or his affiliates and subsidiary corporations, and as such he is immune from all whining, bitching, complaining, lecturing, the pointing out of ignorance, awareness raising, lawsuits etc. if you would like mountain to stop making racist jokes, he in turn would like you to go f*ck yourself</span>.

i dont really know how to respond to this. i read the thing the whole way through but got absolutely nothing out of it because it was all caps locked and bolded. you might wanna think about deleting the other post you had in a different forum (not sure which one).

anyway, i think what you were implying is that LDing should be appreciated for what it is, and that we should not try to get too much into as to make it meaningless. correct me if im wrong.

edit: i added a space between teh paragraphs

Yes Thanks, I did mean that...some people are goofing off in ld&#39;s and constantly losing their lucidty cuz of this...if you saw it as a mission to discover the world around you, you&#39;d be able to ld for more than 15minutes, since poepl think its a game or toy, nothing serious can ever evolve from this precious gift alot of people are taking for granted.

My apology for the crack I means caps...lol. just trying to make an impact to other luciders. Please read my follow up below..I&#39;ll be seeing you in dreamland..

no offense, but this post does look a little newbish considering its in all capitals and bold, and very poorly typed. also sounds like your trying to put everyone in a state of awe about your current skill level in LDS, which is easy with lucid dreaming because you can easily lie about it.

First of all, Welcome to the forum.

Now, I guess my first question is: What makes you guage yourself as an "Expert" at lucid dreaming?

Your level of "OMG EXCITEMENT&#33;" has me wondering, a little. You said you had a lucid dream just the other day, where you were absolutely fascinated by the texture of an object that was about 6 ft off of the ground. What level of "expertise" are you at, where your fascination with the texture of an object is the highlight of the example of your lucid dream?

My second question would be: What puts you in the position to say whether or not the way someone uses their LD is "taking it for granted?" Taking something for granted, whether it be life, love or lucidity is a matter of Personal Opinion. Some of my longest LD&#39;s ever have come from just enjoying myself: Fighting warriors/monsters, explaining my state to DCs, letting the dream carry itself out while just watching, even sitting in a waiting room and reading, while lucid. Some of my shortest lucids have come from making a conscious effort to explore my dream state intensely - and vice versa. What "level" do you believe you&#39;re at where you can say whether what I&#39;m doing with my own lucidity is "treating it like a toy" or "taking it for granted?"

      Just curious.

The Reason I’m a expert is that before coming to this site I’ve always had lucid dreams but really thought I was the only one in the world that actually was conscious in my dreams, I even studied them and wrote them down, I have 17 composition books with dreams written in it since I was 14. I’m really trying to evolve my gift to actually make a difference in reality, developing my mind reading skills proved quite a consolation. And being able to predict behavior of people has also become a good strength of mine. My dreams have helped me evolved into a very intelligent person. Lucid dreams give you a sort of strength over the world, as we know, a manipulative power. If we all were to use these powers for some actual benefit to the world, we can make this world a better place. Imaging making your dreams come true imagine being in a lucid dream and picking up your cell phone and calling someone in reality to tell them your in a lucid dream, actually happened to me once, my best friend said he heard my name and a lot of static but knew it was me though the caller ID came up as 000-000-0000. So if someone else had an experience where they connected their lucid dream to reality please tell me so we can further explore this talent. I want to bring unicorns into this world and other unseen creatures; I want to bring a DC to life. I want to create a life where dreams can come true…I was giving an example of what lucid dreaming can produce..

      Ok.
The way I see it, you are familiar with lucid dreaming, and probably pretty skilled in it. (I&#39;ve been having them since I was about 6, myself.) You may consider yourself an expert, and I&#39;m not going to take that away from you, but I&#39;ll tell you here and now, after being on this site for over a year, there are many of us (myself included) who prove to be on or above your level of "expertise."

Where you&#39;re coming off as wrong in your approach is that you are wishing to use your lucid dreaming to develop abilities based on unproven phenomena. Inherently, there is nothing wrong with that, but to belittle and degrade others&#39; uses of lucid dreaming for whatever it is they wish to do, is straight-up ignorant and will probably get you looked at as nothing more than a zealot - And that&#39;s not meant to be an insult, from me, so take it as you want.

Yeah, it&#39;d be nice if we could develop paranormal skills through lucid dreaming. Lord knows I experiment with the possibility all the time, but to say that the only acceptable (or even the "most practical") use for lucid dreaming is to try to change the world by developing, as yet, unproven abilities is much like saying that a person that doesn&#39;t spend every day of his waking life working diligently to "change the world" by developing parapsychological skills, rather than enjoy their time on it, is pretty ethnocentric.

Just something to take into consideration before you go around saying you outclass others in something as subjective as lucid dreaming.

That doesn&#39;t make you an expert, that makes you a natural. Natural does not equal expert.

I’m really trying to evolve my gift[/b]
Gift? Not really, a lot of people are naturals. It&#39;s not really a special gift.

      ..Make a difference in reality[/b]
By lucid dreaming? Possibly for developing your own character, but not for trouble in the world like hunger in third world countries, world wars, etc.

Lucid dreams give you a sort of strength over the world, as we know, a manipulative power. If we all were to use these powers for some actual benefit to the world, we can make this world a better place.[/b]
Over your own, "imaginary" (Dream) world, the world that only exists in your head.

      Please, please, let me be the first to ride the unicorn&#33;

Seriously, I hope you stick around long enough to get a little perspective, and share some meaningful insights about LD&#39;s.
The new evolutionary paradigm will give us the human traits of truth, of loyalty, of justice, of freedom. These will be the manifestations of the new evolution. And that is what we would hope to see from this. That would be nice.
