      Worst nightmare I ever had!

Ok as far as I remeber I have only ever had 2 real nightmares(they repeated a few times however), though I have had some other scary things nothing to bad. The two really bad ones where like 10-15 years ago though so I never expected what happened tonight.

Anyway in the dream I had just gotten back to this hotel with a bunch of friends after this boat sank and I almost drowned(not so scary). We where inside and I looked out the window, its a nice sunny day, and we right at the beach, could see the sand and the nice blue water. Out of no where this lightning bolt shoots down from the sky and hits the water. It was like a wall of energy, then it started moving, It slide across the water and you can see it burning a path as it goes. I look and I see its comming stright for me, and within seconds it goes from middle of the water across the beach up into the window.

I fall over when I am struck by the lightning, but then it doesn't stop. It keeps striking me over and over. And I can feel it, and theres like a sharp pain at left side at the bottom of my chest, right above the belly. I start crawling away and its still zapping me, everyone else in the room like ducked down and was hiding. Its so scary I even start praying asking god to stop it.

Finally I get around a corner and get out of sight from the window and it stopped but then I saw it comming from another window so I hid behide a door. It was door had like shutters on them or something so I could peak out from behind it.

I see one of my friends walk into the room and hes like smoking, you can tell he got struck by the lightning too, he falls over dead. Then another one walks in and hes like bleeding but he has a dollar bill stuck in his wound for some reason and he falls over dead. So I am still hiding and still in pain(I bet I was smoking myself) and I call out "Someone call 911" because I think I am dieing. Then another person walks out to call and boom, hes fried by the lightning.

Then another friend makes it to the phone and hes calls 911 and they say they can't help because they getting to many calls. Most are from a ton of people who just started clawing their eyes out, luckly I didn't see that however. He says I got struck by lightning and person on phone says that was happening all over too, but then he said I was still alive and she was kind of surprised because I think everyone else died instantly or something.

So I am hiding there, my side still hurts really bad and then I slowly wake up. It was like a normal dream when you wake up right afterwards. I didn't like wake up suddenly or anything because it was scary I think the dream just ended. I went to right it down in my dream journal, it took like 20-30 minutes to write because I kept stopping to think about it.

After I woke up it didn't bother me at all but it seemed so real while I was dreaming it. The nightmares I had when I was a kid, would just be scary all at once then you wake up suddenly, this one was drawn out. Which I think is what makes it so scary.

Good things is, is that whenever something destructive happens in a dream I become lucid. The way I look at it is that I am always lucid dreaming unless I say otherwise. Not the other way around.
Still trying to decide on a sig.

Well as I said I don't normally have nightmares. I guess since I been using a dream journal and I remeber a lot more dreams, it was only a matter of time before I remebered one though. Normally something bad happens I just turn it around and its not to scary. Not sure why that one was different.

Crucible, I had a dream character tell me that before, I am always lucid unless I say otherwise. Except I never remeber saying otherwise so I thought he was nuts.

Same here. I almost never have nightmares now. At least I don't consider them nightmares, cause I'm not afraid of anything in dreams anymore since I'm permanently semi-mini-lucid. (Best phrasing I could offer)

I do miss the thrill of having a nightmare though.
