Are Dreamguides Like This?

When I was tyring to do a WILD. I read something on dreamguides and doors and such. So i created a door, and thought my dreamguide would be at the end of it. I think he/she was. But it was like a very dark shadow just trying to get out of my view when i tried to look at it. Ok I think its male, I tried talking to it. He seems very scarey and creepy. Is this even a dreamguide? O_O He also didn't seem very friendly also. he was acting all serious and didn't want me to look at him. He just circled around me out of my view once I try to see him. Yeah my qustion is. Is he even a dreamguide? >_> Or is it just a really really really smart and creepy DC? or a demon maybe in my dream that I summoned without knowing?

Dreamguides are more like a spiritual helper. They can take any form and personality.

I doubt that your dreamguide would present itself in such a form to you. A dreamguide probably knows you well enough to know what would be alarming to you, and avoid that.
Either it was your dream guide - and you're not ready for him..
or it was one of the other things you mentioned

That's just my thought,
