Ok, We´ll See How This Goes...

A while back, I posted inquiring to see if anyone had tried to set up a device while in the middle of a lucid dream to automatially bring them to lucidity the next time they dream (no one replied). Each time I´ve gone lucid in the few weeks that I´ve been trying again, it´s been kind of diluted and I can´t remember my objectives.

Last night, however, was a different story. Although it wasn´t nearly as vivid as some of my other lucids, my thought process was very grounded. I flew out of a window (for some reason, I think flying is a cinch) and floated down to a crowd of DC´s. In particular, I met with a group of 3 with whom I did the two things I had planned:

1. Apologized for my violent behavior in recent lucid dreams
2. Asked one of them to come remind me that I´m dreaming if I ´don´t realize

The one I asked is a short, stocky fellow with a shaved head. He didn´t really acknowlege me but for some reason I feel like he affirmed my request.

So we´ll see if he comes through. I´ll let you guys know.

Now this sounds fascinating. If this works, this may be the direction I might have to take in order to really start my lucid dreaming experiences. Being generally new to the whole thing, I have excellent dream recollection, but haven't started putting the much needed pieces to the puzzle together.

I don't remember seeing your other post, as I would have replied.

There was somebody else here who created an entity to remind him he was dreaming. He claimed it as part of his system for 100% lucidity, all the time.

In a lucid many months back, I created a large blue butterfly as a reminder that I am dreaming in the future.

It has never reappeared. Never thought of asking a DC to do it though!

100% lucidity all the time, you say? That's awesome. If it does work, I definetely think it would have to be added to the lexicon... maybe DCILD (dream character induced lucid dream, lol). I was just really proud of myself considering that, despite the excitement, I was able to keep my mind on my objectives. I can't wait to go to sleep tonight!

You just reminded me of something. I've had dreams where I have apologized to people in my dream, its an unreal and feeling you can't feel in the real world. Kinda like a happy feeling. But a creepy thing, when I laugh in a dream becuase of funny thing that happened, an evil feeling.

So far nothing. I've been under a lot of stress the last few days however and haven't written in my journal. My next plan is to ask WHY it didn't work and ask a DC for suggestions. I'm not gonna give up on this.
